    Custom parts 3" downpipe

Does anyone in here run with a 3" downpipe from custom parts? If yes, what are your thoughts and what type of turbo can possibly be mount on it or (what do you have currently on?). Was thinking a GT30 or Precision myself, but I dont feel like buying the downpipe if it only fits to the standard turbo

You can get all the parts you need from Ebay, just search for 3" or 76mm stainless

No links I'm afraid but like Andy I just found and ordered the tube from eBay and the fittings and rear box from Jetex and got an engineering company to cut me a flange to fit my turbo. Stainless mig welded it all together job done..

Welding stainless is just like mild steel. If anything it's easier. Just use stainless wire or rods.

Welding alloy is the more difficult material.

                You mean this one? http://webshop.cp-service.se/sv/audi...s2-rs2-s4.html

It fits the standard turbo and wastegate with the standard or RS2 exhaust manifold.

Exactly Laaf If I wanted to use a different flange for a larger turbo id have to cut away the already existing flange and weld on a bigger one?

It depends on what turbo you intend to run. Atleast RS2 turbo fits no problem. May be other bigger KKKs too that will fit.
Bigger Garretts and others I am pretty sure it requires a bit more modification. They do make custom downpipes if you send them the exhaust housing you intend to use. If you have another manifold than standard or their tubular manifold you have to send it to them too.
