oil cooler where can it be fitted

hi all, im thinking of mounting the the oil cooler where the aux radiator used to live , firstly would this cause a problem with circulation in any away, also I would have thought it should be lower than the oil filter , but tbh theres no space would it be ok behind the grill cheers

Lots of folk have used the aux rad position without issues.

There's plenty of room in front of the main radiator and you can easily route air from the lower grill directly onto your oil cooler. That's what I decided to do and it was very easy to get a 19 row cooler down there with a simple bracket.

I have a reversed manifold too, there's plenty of room down there

        Good luck with your install.

No issues, only slight annoyance is it blocks access to the timing belt cover if you are messing with the cam wheel, same as the aux rad. Not really an issue though.

My hoses were long enough that I could unbolt it from the crossmember and swing it up on top of the engine or airbox to access timing belt etc.
