There's no simple answer to your question!

What power do you want to achieve, what's the car to be used for and how much money do you have to spend? That's the question you need to ask and there will be a multitude of suggestions based on what folk have done.

Stage 1 - generic remap with k24 turbo - sub 300hp
Stage 2 - RS2 turbo, manifold, injectors with generic remap - 360 or more hp
Stage 3+ - could be anything but will likely require uprated rods and fuel pump, etc and custom remapping - xxxhp

I've heard BW is out of new RS2 units; I know most buy used but something to consider. Having a OEM/well developed tune is a bonus!

I think Hank Iroz in Las Vegas (Iroz Motorsports) bought the last new RS2 units but he is also doing interesting things with TT-RS units and the new BW EFRs. I've seen many dyno graphs with double the peak and no loss of response.

rs2 turbo is old tehnology compared to Volvo unit.I am going for similar power like you,but i am going with Volvo unit.More torque and better spoul

A 7400 won't do 400bhp. An rs2 turbo would get closer to that figure but its way over worked at that point.

What figures can 7400 do then? I'll throw in some uprated I-beams to be on the safe side. Will it be happy with a K26 hotside housing?

A 7400 is happy at 350 bhp the same a rs2 unit is happy at 375bhp if that helps. 7400 is more responsive that rs2 and pulls from lower down.

I was wondering all the time witch route to go. From forum I can understand the rs2 setup is proved it self, but as far as I know it is not the best option today for similar power and not so easy to buy the parts as well.

What would be fairly easy kit to put together and similar as rs2 setup? For example Albert's manifolds, witch not gonna crack and can be ordered., or other options. What to do on ECU side to keep it safe and simple? My car is going the route Sunday driver with nice stereo in it and 1-2 times per year track day use for fun...

I want that 300ish + bhp but I dont want the car sitting in upgrades for long time. Money wise I understand its gona cost money, but doesn't feel right to buy cracked manifolds for big bucks as well? I'm noob that's why I'm asking.

I have read many forum member projects witch are nice, but most of them ends up with 2-3 times engine in and out situation. Is there any project witch would be similar to my situation?
