    Car Won't Start Again.

As above been driving the car all week went out to Tesco came back to car jumps in and it turns over but won't start, got my son to bring the Vcds down and towing bar, and he pulled 2 codes.

00515 Camshaft position Hall sender G40 Mechanical malfuction.

00516 Closed throttle (Idle) position switch F60 Open or short to plus.

I know where the hall sender is and i happen to have a brand new Oem one i'v been saving for a couple of years but i don't know where the F60 switch is can some one point me in the right direction please. What piss-- me of is i had all this stripped down last w/end when changing the crank oil seal i thought then about changing the hall sender and didn't do it and now it's come back to bite in the ***

    Thanks.

You always get that camsshaft code when you read codes and engine is not running. F60 switch is part of TPS.

G69 / F60 Throttle valve position potentiometer /idle switch information

Incorrect. The camshaft position sensor is the G40. The crankshaft position sensor is the G28 which always throws a malfunction code on a non-running engine.

F60 is the idle switch. G69 = throttle position switch.

PN would be in the link to G69/F60 info I provided. I would start by checking the female pins in the harness connector to make sure that they aren't pushed back too far and cleaning the male pins on the G69/F60 to make sure that they are clean and not corroded.
