I've got a PTP one too, worth the extra money and won't catch fire unlike some of the Chinese rubbish on Ebay

Have been using for a couple years cheapest one I found on ebay. Havn's catch fire yet. Only the color has transformed from black to gray.

Yep I use a cheapish eBay one. Turbo has been bright red many times. No problems...

I have been using this one since October last year with no issues. Not a lot of miles, but plenty of WOT pulls for logging:

JP was running one of those cheap Ebay ones on his car, but when he took it off the inside was black and scorched, looked like it was close to setting alight. It went in the bin and was replaced with a PTP one.

I have a cheap one I bought and never fitted, not worth the risk in my opinion.

I did the opposite and covered all the surrounding areas instead. I don't like blankets as if I see 800C of temperature on high runs it tells me that the blanket may increase that and though it may help spool, the sustained boost on high revs will kill prematurely the hotside.
