I have had the Samco hoses on for a while and noticed the MAF hose where the metal pipe goes to the cam cover is really tricky to get the jubilee clip to stay on, it's as if there isn't enough tube sticking out any one else had this

Yup, this was a common complaint
The Roose hose is supposed to be better but I've not seen one personally and you're looking at £100 or so for that hose alone...Cheers'en, AndyC

Very frustrating took me an hour to get it to stay on the other day
all it needed was 5mm more tube sticking out it would be fine

I didn't like the way MAF or throttle body hoses fitted with the Samco's I had for my 3B so stuck with OE items, the MAF hose hasn't got to take pressure and the throttle body hose is still available at a reasonable price, well it was...not sure that's the case now.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.
