  • Stiffer valve springs - any budget solution?

Soo, is there any cheap solution for stiffer valvetrain? Rosten performance seems not to offer anymore valve springs for stock retainers, only a kit for quite expencive 343 euros. I use rosten springs atm in the head that is in my UrS and no problem to rev up to 8100rpm with 7A cams, but I will need another set of springs.

I heard a rumor that 5cyl 2.5l diesel engine uses about 30% stiffer valve springs that our stock springs, anyone tried those? Or does anyone now a source for some another budget solution?

    Edit.

FCP offers springs for 240 euros. http://www.fcp-engineering.com/valve...attro-20v.html

+ $68 shipping + tax and VAT. Too expencive. Seems that FCP can offer cheapest ones. But still a cheap ghetto solution intrests me. I know the guys in Baltic countries are quite inventive with their frankenstein engine builds, maybe they know some tips for this?

Do you sell cams too. What options.

Ok do you have any power graphs from these cams vs stock or 7a cams. What would you recommend for a stroker with head work, tube manifold and gt35r with billet wheel? I want power from 4k rpm to 7.5k rpm. Also what costs.

Bit of an old thread but thought better to post in here than create a new one.

I notice rosten valve spring kit is still cheaper than FCP with lower spring pressure on intake but higher on exhaust. Anyone running Rosten valve springs in their car?
