Audi quattro 2.3 7a engine head gaskit question

    Hi.
I would be really gratefull if somebody could shine some light on this question, as i have been searching for weeks for this answer.
So the thing is, the bore size on my engine is 82.5mm, its an audi coupe quattro 2.3 20v. I have bought an MLS headgaskit but the bore size on the new metal one is 82mm. These seem to be made for audi S2/RS2 and the head on 7a is not of a much differrnce to an s2. Also, the head gaskit for 7a is impossible to get hold of, so is it possible to use the metal 82mm headgskit after all, and how could i make the bore size on the metal heagkaskit bigger (if that is what needs to be done to make it work) if possible at all.
    Thanks.

Ok, if that gasket is metal and has bigger bore than the Reinz 20vt gasket, that would be a good thing for some applications, also slightly thicker than the turbo gasket.

What about gasket thickness, e.g. for a head that has been skimmed a little bit?
