Advise wanted for K27 8 er abgasgeh.

hmmm think my K24 is on its way out and have come across a K27 - would there be any point in going after it?

My car is a 3B so i guess that even if it did bolt straight on to get any real benefit from the K27 i'd need probably a sq manifold/rs2 etc etc etc. So i am best off looking for an RS2 turbo instead?

You will need to upgrade manifold for the K27 anyway as it wont fit!!
Not sure about RS2 turbo, but i reckon thats the same.

the rs2 turbo will go straight onto your stock manifold, youll need to uprate your fuel pressure regulator and intercooler as well, ive just done this and...well all i can say is what a beast, not fully setup yet running upto 1.5bar, when ive sorted my intercooler 'project' out ill be going to 1.8.
get one bought you know it makes sense

I'm on the prowl for one - was looking over the pond actually as the way the dollar and cdn dollar fair agianst the pound means even with shipping it might be cheaper.

Oh dear,
looks like the poor old humble K24 is a dying breed, almost everywhere I look on this forum people are talking about bigger turbos .
Gonna be a lot of rapid S2´s around pretty soon .

I have a bit of an art background.

When the k24 goes.. I am going to make molds of it, and the intake boot, and turn it into art. hehe.. Ceramics btw.. But at some point I am going to learn how to do plastic molds.



Not sure exactly how it going to work.. But I will figure it out.

Crazy Idea I have in the back of my mind.
