Roose Coolant Hoses - Matrix Hose

Just got my shiny new set through ...

I've asked them if there's a possibility of a set for cars without the auxiliary radiator, save cutting mine up, so wait and see.

The only issue I have with them is that there is no heater matrix bleed screw on the ones I've been sent. Is this the same for other people?

Just fill it all through the expansion bottle but hold the bottle as high up as you can. You won't have any issues with bleeding that way. ..

When I got mine 4-5 years ago they didn't have the screw in them which made it a PITA to bleed
Just some finishing touches to do now

I always fill the matrix before connecting the hoses.

I drilled a hole in the top of the matrix outlet pipe, this is what Audi did on the later models instead of the leak probe bleed screw

Hole in the pipe, or the hose after the clamp and slide to open.

Do you happen to have a photo that explains it further ?

                    Thanks either way.

Not my car but this is the idea:

There is a hole in the pipe coming off the matrix. You pull the coolant hose back to align the holes and bleed, then slide the hose on and tighten clip.

Quick word of caution about drilling the heater matrix return pipe if your heater matrix is weak it could prompt it to start leaking couple of weeks after I fitted my Roose hose set I had to replace the heater matrix as coolant started leaking into the passenger foot well other than that great solution for bleeding it drilled the new heater matrix before fitting it as it made sense to
