    fuel injector recommendations

What do you guys recommend or have used
for injectors on your builds? I'm running a
    gtx3582r on E85. I have a rebuilt AAN with
rods. Do you think 1,200cc would be sufficient
    or should I go bigger?

I'd be looking more toward 2000cc.

EV14 0 280 158 827 (1700cc)has bad reputation with e85. The flow characteristics change when the internal seals swoll.

            EV14 0 280 158 821(2000-2200cc) has been proven to work very well with e85.

Both these are gas injectors, so Bosch wouldn't quarantee that they work with fuels. If you wan't to be 100% sure about e85 compatibility then buy these: http://www.finjector.com/verkkokaupp...-p-519967-188/

1700 CNG injectors have also known issues with gasoline at higher fuel temperature because flow characteristics change...

                Yes, exactly.

I'm running these with e85 atm. http://www.finjector.com/verkkokaupp...-p-125606-188/ But the idle is worse than with 1200cc EV14. Other wise no issues.

Thomas those bosch 2,200cc injectors use
ev14 connectors correct. Just to clarify
the stock AAN injectors are ev1 so I
would need adapters. Also these are very
                  short so I'm guessing I would need a 60mm
                  height spacer?

Don't know where these romur comes from...

When the gasoline becomes hot the thickness of the gasoline change. (dont know if thickness is the right word, in german it's "dichte") The injector flow is the same. 30°C higher gastemp means 4% less thickness. Thats why lambda gets thinner @ high gasoline temp. The higher the cc of the injectors, the more lambda get thin.

Tuned 5 cars with the 1700CNG injectors on E85 and Ultimate102. No problems yet.
                    4x 2xPierburg fuelpump@3bar. +10-16° fueltemp, no lambda difference.
                    1x 2x044 Bosch @4bar. +33° fueltemp, corrected VE via FlexFuel+Anytrim.

1x 2x044 Bosch @4bar 2200 ID's. +25° fueltemp, corrected VE via FlexFuel+Anytrim. Without correction lambda went from 0.78 cold to 0.85 high gastemp. The biggest difference i ever measured.

The same procedure is used in every TFSI and CR Motor.

Does anyone know if those 2,200cc
injectors need adapters for an AAN
harness and spacer hats for the rail?

Well, they are O-O 34mm and you would need O-O 61mm so the answer to your question is, yes you would need spacers. And you would also need adapters for the electric connectors.
