    AAN engine rebuild question.

As I'm planning to rebuild the new freshly AAN motor soon.I have a couple AAN blocks laying. some has a good crankshaft but badly glazed the cylinders and vice versa.
What if i put those together?let' say crankshaft from another block.Do i need to send
the block, crankshaft and main bearing caps to machine shop to calibrate and grind off the bearing caps to be matched those together?I ever rebuilt some 4,0L big truck motor and always needed to send it to machine shop otherwise the crankshaft couldnt spin freely when torque the main bearing bolts down.
one of a few I5 from Asia.

No you should be fine. You will need to check that the crank spins freely when you are assembling it, but there should be no problems unless crank is bent or block is damaged. You can do a rough check to check the crank is straight with a DTI.

in the past I have broken my crankshaft by oil pressure problems and have placed a second hand crankshaft without machining or something, just with new bearings, like alex says, place the crankshaft with the bearings and see if it spins freely
