We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
There was actually a cover over this mount but i can't see it doing much to deflect the heat as it was only really a thin rubber top hat. The thin aluminium shield over the offside gearbox mounting seems a lot more confidence inspiring.
