Hi there, currently enjoying the RS2 and had to take it out for a blast today!
It's going really well at the moment and have had it 6 months now, doesn't get driven loads but makes every journey that more enjoyable
One issue I have at the moment is a judder/hesitation once I hit about 4K rpm, it doesn't happen everytime but does occur quite often. It seems to be worse under higher load and only really occurs over 1/2 throttle.
Having done a bit of searching I am thinking it is one of three possibilities:
- Coil Packs
- MAF Sensor
- Boost Leak
Ideally I would like to read the codes (not sure how useful this is) but I think it would be a good start. Is there anyone in the North Yorkshire area who is handy with these cars who could read the codes or alternatively what do people recommend to do this with myself? Don't think it has a standard 16 pin OBD plug?
If it needs a new MAF/Coils/Hose are genuine parts best to replace or would people advise on uprated aftermarket parts (if available)?
Thanks very much and sorry for the daft questions! still getting to know my way round these cars.
Naim
