S4 vs s6 exhaust manifolds

  • S4 vs s6 exhaust manifolds

    So one with welded seams was from s4, one without was from s6 auto
    Different size pipes and longer turbo section on s6
    Any particular reasons for the design differences?
    One flow better than other?
    Diameter at head sides are same for each one

    Side comparison shows different length to turbo
    S6 one has no part numbers whereas s4 one does

            Why no part numbers?
            Ill save it with my rs2 injectors, turbo and ecu then until I find an inlet manifold

                That's what puzzled me having no numbers which is why I posted photos

                  Neither of them have welded seams. Its all just casting marks. As suggested the one on the right is an RS2 or RS2 clone manifold.

                  RS2 manifold on the top. 3B, AAN (UrS4 and UrS6), and ABY manifold on the bottom (Note how cylinders 1 and 5 are handled in the two different examples):

                    Looks like an RS2 rep, no casting lines.

                      the right one is probably a replica rs2 manifold,i"v sold one to andy in the past
                      but there are many replica's on ebay,different brands,mine came from arlows
