I also thought it could be the fuel pump, but it started after I cleaned the G28 sensor.

My next problem is fuel / boost cut out with full throttle.Thought it was the org coils who started to fail but it was not Can be a leak somewhere but have not found any. Does not have any faults with vagcom. My car does not have any alarm.
Spark plugs. Mine was misfiring on boost, turned out to be plugs.

Try looking at the boost pipe going from turbo to ic ... mine was split right in the join and i didnt see it till i took it off 😧 i had very bad jerking and cut on full throttle but when i changed my ecu turbo and injectors the problem went away ( maybe fault with old ecu)? Cant say as iv done a lot of work to it recently but keep looking at things before spending hard cash 😂😂😂 i learned that the hard way once

Thanks, will check, but I replaced the plugs with recommended bosch plugs about 15k km ago The car dont misfire, just cut under full throttle over 3k rpm :/

Bosch F5DP0R's? Those started misfiring after 3 months. Throw them to the bin. And it wasn't just misfire, it was cutting violently when boosting, we actually thought that ECU was losing either +12V or ground. Swapped the plugs and it just went away.

Hehe, sorry to hear about you learning the hard way This forum is amazing and often make me check different things before buying new parts

Im thinking it must be a leak somewhere but havent found any yet. Will check that pipe again! Im going to get a remap after I installed rs2 parts last summer. My ecu was changed when I first chipped the car when it had stock parts and it worked fine, so I dont think its the ecu

I'm with NGK now. Before the engine rebuild I was rocking BCPR7ET, no issues. PFRQ7 also work good.

Ngk platnium plugs? Good for the heat these engine produce!

Will change the spark plugs But I dont think they are the problem. I can give full throttle but not for long, after reaching 3-4k rpm, it cut the ignition or fuel. It cant hold max boost for longer than 2-3 seconds before it cut the power.

After it cut the power the first time it starts to cut the power right away the turbo begins to spools up. I can turn the ignition off and start the car and I can give full throotle again before it cut again after holding boost for 2-3 seconds.

I also thought that plugs were not the problem. Even went on to change the G40, G4 & G28 to completely new units. Went over the electrics, swapped ECU's, MAF's, Wastegates, coils. And the plugs were the last check.

                      Dave knows.

Change the plugs to NGK and then post your results. Check this forum for a note of which type of NGK plugs.

Changing the plugs is quick and inexpensive. Hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Assuming you have the issue still and have done a boost leak pressure test or take off the boost relevant pipes and examine them as closely as possible 'by hand', and then if you still have it, would suggest you change your cam position sensor (G40) if it is still the factory one, i.e. 18 odd years old.

                        Await your further advices.

                        Best wishes.

Yes. We went around and around on that one. Eventually it was the plugs. Now that is the first thing after the MAF connector that I suggest.

                              Thanks, will check that to

Have read several threads about spark plugs and people using different kind of NGK plugs, the more I read the more unsure I get, which should I buy for a chipped rs2 setup? Are these okey: NGK BKR7EIX IX Iridium Plug? Or should I buy bkr8... instead of bkr7...? Or normal copper NGK?
