This might be of interest to some.

Very clever to make it a plug and play kit.

NCTS. But happy to highlight good stuff for our I5 20vt.

Not sure what's nicer, the price or the results!

Does he have a graph for the 6758 on pump. Would be nice to compare to mine.

How do you translate those Mustang WHP numbers to what we know as bhp over here?

Mustang whp should be 1.15 or 1.2 x to get UK bhp.

            I've always used 1.25

that's a magic number on E85 with adding some +90 Whp from 91 pump gas.
one of a few I5 from Asia.

1.25 gets us bhp but 1.2 is closer to UK.

I raised power from 480whp to 580whp (Mustang Dyno whp) going from pump gas (98) to E85 on my 2.5 stroker

So I guess the EFR6258 is roughly equivenlent to RS2?

I wonder which ones would be ok for stock internals?... (Subject to tuning and torque).

A generic tune for a stock engine would be nice to go with these..

                      Some graphs of a EFR6758 and EFR7163 on a 20vt with e85 here:

                        Ohhhh that's tempting.

What's the cost difference for Motronic tuning an EFR vs. billet k26, on a UrS4?

depends. for those turbos that fall within the range of the stock MAF (the 6758 on pump gas will be) its the same price. ($500 without launch control, $550 with launch control. there will also be package discounts with purchase of turbo available)

for the higher power stuff we need speed density or big maf (rs4) which I charge $250-$350 more for depending on configuration.

When you say stock spool do you mean k24 fast?

yep (note this graph is on e85, but the spool will be the same, just lower peak. expect close to 350whp on pump gas).

I do have rods, but what I really want is the fastest spooling 350+whp setup possible.

then this is the turbo for you.

The 7163 is a 60#/min turbo, so roughly equivalent to a 30R; so with a good tune and proper fueling anything 7163 size and down should be okay on stock internals.
