    doesnt run on start up

I have a 1990 QC20v starts brilliant but wont run unless you keep your foot on the loud pedal for a couple of minutes, after that lift your foot and ticks over sweetly. Done all the usual stuff clean all intakes clean the throttle adjustment valve clean EVERYTHING not got alot of part cleaner left but boy is it clean under the bonnet. Any body what this might be. If it was diesel i'd say it would need new glow plugs but it aint! some ideas would be helpful if anyone else has come across this. Cheers

Yeah cheers bud done all that as i say cleaned everything double checked connections and fittings and security of connectors. Going to take it to a four wheel rolling road in Shrewsbury and hope to cure it. Thanks was hoping someone could steer me to what it could be before i go spending yet more money on the soddin thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Might see it next month for sale or scrap really starting to loose interest.

Coolant temperature sensor sounds very likely, I had similar symptoms on my old S8 and that was the cure.
I likened its behaviour to the old-school "choke not working so floor it until its warmed up" technique.

Thanks for all your advice guys, much appreciated. Just one more. Where are the drain holes for rainwater? Everytime it rains the drivers footwell becomes one, A WELL!. With all the electrics up behind the consule on that side could cause lots of problems. Cheers
