Probably one for PRJ but is there a specific value in terms of crank or camshaft degrees that the ecu sees the window of the shutter wheel? Obviously being camshaft mounted its only going to appear once for every two crank rotations.
The crank sensor is at a specific fixed value so thats why I am asking.

Paul N. (S2Central.net) produced these a while back:

Having thought about it, it is of course 62 degress BTDC crankshaft as the G4, just every 720 degrees. The G4 pulse needs to be ideally in the square wave of the G40. So that means that the G40 signal begins before and after 62 degrees BTDC crankshaft, i.e with the leading and trailing edge of the shutter wheel.
