UrS6 - Getting heat into the engine oil sooner ?

A pre heater for the oil in the sump would also work, but would be a bit of a hassle to fit and use ?

Does anyone who lives in the Nordic countries have any information on what Audi might have offered on I5 20v engines in the really cold countries ?
