Back with KS ring choices:
1. 800001011000 std size rings molymdenum faced.
This rings break in faster than chrome faced rings, keep oil better.Due to faster break in compared to chrome they need a fine grit honing/plateau so oil consumption is kept in normal values.
2 .800001012000 std size rings chrome faced.
Does not keep oil as much as moly ring, break in slower compared to first one.Needs less fine grit for honing compared to moly. But needs perfect round bores.
So,for max 0.01 deviation from normal dimensions at bores and NOT glazed ones i would use chrome.
Other, moly is the way from my point of view.
Get a honing at a shop or get some moly rings and leave it as it is.You may oversize bores if you try to hand remove the glazing. But measure bores first. You might need to get to oversized pistons.
