Custom fuel lines - who do people use?

I've removed my temporary fuel lines which connect from the hardlines on the bulkhead to the fuel rail. Both feed and return.

I need to get new ones made up - either crimped using the existing ends or complete new - but to exactly match what I have. (Currently, I cut the old stainless braided ones up to remove the ends, then used rubber fuel hose with jubilee clips)

Which company do people suggest I should use? I don't have any facilities or knowledge to make them myself - in any case, I don't want them to leak!

I want to send them and get them done asap - or take them somewhere for a while you wait service if they are within about an hours drive of the South East.

What do you reckon? I want reasonable quality - for sensible money - don't want to change them again. ie. Fit and forget...

    Thanks

Pirtek should be able to sort you out, don't know on cost though. Is it just the flex lines under the bonnet?

I used Pirtrk. It costed me about £80 for all pipes from tank to engine bay but I have to bend them to the shape myself.they could do it for me but price would be about £250-300 they said

          Interesting.

What was the price for just the flexible connections - from the hard lines at the bulkhead to the fuel rail (since all the rest is new)

What did they provide for these connections, was it braided PTFE?

I'm not sure how much staff would cost separate ,all I can say is that I received complete pipes all done up,all I was have to do is bend them up to the shape.I wish I wait with that job till the moment when I removed engine-it would be much more simple to fit them :-)

Yes. I replaced the hard lines too with everything in place... well, a friend did...

Just to be clear, I only need these bits made "better"

Well, I ended up visiting a helpful company called Hydraquip in Kent.

They planned to re-use my ends and crimp new hose with stainless braid included... ultimately they couldn't add the braid apparently due to the short length of the existing tails on the end fittings.

They supplied hose and crimped for me for £2.50

Anyway. This will work perfectly well bit isn't quite what I was after. Found a friend of a friend who said he knows someone...

They've now been sent to Think Automotive to have something nice made up..

Here's what cost a couple of quid...

                    Hi piotr

i am considering new fuel hardlines from tank to under the bonnet

What material was it? Copper? Like universal copper brake line, just bigger in diameter?

                    Thanks.

Don't use copper... you need to use copper nickel - called Kunifer
