    K26-1470 turbo(AKA MTM 303PS).

last few weeks my Garrett 2871/K26 gave up on me whilst beating the M3 on the midnight street run.I purchased this turbo on 2009 from 034 approx 130,000kms on clock. Now i need to put the rare KKK MTM 303PS back on the car whilst choosing the new turbo.this turbo looks like something in between K24-7000 & K24-7200(RS2'd)
from my inspection. It's the hybrid turbo with exhaust wheel from -7000 and compressor wheel from -7200(RS2'd).The MTM 303PS car was originally equipped with this turbo and rs2 exhaust manifold, big injectors and reprogrammed computer..question is what would i expect the power level on running this turbo with all uprated hardware plus VEMS standalone on E85 biofuel? another question is I'm going to purchase the new turbo though but i need turbos which could PNP on my RS2 exhaust manifold.some another flange(T3,T25) means i need to tow this car for a new custom downpipe which is PITA.
Personally I'd love EFR 6758 or 7163 as per my desired power level but it needs a custom downpipe and it;s cost a fortune for EFR turbo.

I had this turbo and software on my old coupe along with injectors, turbo back miltek. I loved it for good top end but it was a bit laggy but i liked working the gears and it was a fun car, so great for nearing the red line. Dont know about different fuels or vems but it was a good all round turbo in my car for a combo of daily driving and then going crazy when you wanted to.

yeah I just had the first running for logging and fuel tuning.it feels little slower response than 2871.the top end will need to discuss later on but no surprised if it gives out smaller number since this turbo is supposed in between K24 7000 and 7200.
      2871 is a tad bigger than RS2'd.

AFAIK the MTM 303hp turbo is a K26 exhaust wheel with an exducer dia that is a bit smaller than the normal used ones. The compressor is a 2670G. Maybe it´s possible to overhaul it and within that to fit a KKK 2871O wheel to that turbo... (Do not mix that 2871O up with the garret gt2871r turbo, I am speaking of a single kkk compressor wheel :-)). This turbo should be able to do ~380hp with very early spool, and 2,3bar without problems- and it would be complete kkk. In my eyes, that would be a better idea than driving this old turbo or buy a complete new one.

I had one of these custom mapped by Dmitri with 440cc injectors and it made 336bhp and 512nm of torque at MRC. It was a great setup.

Yes, that ist the same compressor. It is used in the Porsche 944 turbo S with 250 hp, but MTM uses another hotside. The compressor wheel itself is able to do ~330-340hp from it´s airflow specs.
