I had all manner of cool noises going on when I got my car, it had been laid up for a few years, not really being driven although it had received regular oil changes etc it needed a certain amount of re-commissioning so aI set about replacing all the valves. After doing this power delivery was smoother, much much smoother. Just changing the DV and the N75 for that most up to date variants dialled out the rally car noises and as a result the boost was cleaner, more progressive and more predictable. Fairly cheap fixes too. Good luck!
