You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links

I was just wondering how you got on as I'm getting similar disturbingly low readings on my gauge at the moment. Oil temperature varies around the first mark on the temp dial and just below it idling after a run (good) yet less than 1 bar on pressure (bad)
engine has currently got a cheap 10/40 oil in for running in purposes after new bearing shells and rings, i will swap to synthetic in due course but as the oil isn't getting 'that' hot during the running in period, i wouldn't expect it to be struggling to maintain its viscosity.
