Are there any reputable K24 rebuild kit sellers? Other than ebay, most of that stuff is from Taiwan, which doesn't inspire confidence. Also, is there anywhere that the shaft and turbine/compressor wheels can be sourced from? Preferably EU, so that import tax can be avoided.
I have my old K24 lying around in the garage, which might be needed in the future, so I'm thinking of rebuilding it myself, since I don't have a dime of trust for the local rebuild shops, after which the turbos fail again in a matter of year. So I wanted to rebuild one myself and just take it for balancing afterwards.
It leaks oil into the intake through the compressor back plate O-ring and the compressor wheel blades have been going at the compressor housing (comp replacement). What should be done with the housing itself? Can it be fixed?
