    RS2 Coils - Parts List ?

    Hi,

Can someone help with some part numbers, I want to replace the coils on my RS2. I have the TFSI coil conversion and now want to go back to stock...

From the state of the old ones I need the wiring looms too. I am away from home and unable to get the numbers from the old parts... doh !!

    Appreciate the help.

There is no OE Coil Pack "wiring loom". The new coils come with leads and you will have to make them work:

    Coils = 034905101
Coil to plug connector (boot, tube) = 034905447
    Spark plugs = Bosch F5DP0R
    Cam Position Sensor = 034905161
    Power Output Stage = 4A0905351A

Wait until you figure out the price of replacing all the OE stuff

You need the 4 connectors and pins, as well as the earth point connector and all the heat resistant insulation that's in there.

          Thanks Guys,

Are these coils a Bosch part that I can buy direct or are they dealer only.... Where is the best place to get them from ?

          Thanks

          Paul

They are Beru parts - search the forum for part numbers - any good motor factor should be able to source them if they can get Beru parts.

LGK6D, yes, perfect, just what I need... its a job that need patience.... Thank you, beautiful car by the way...

Quattro-nick, I am not sure which one(s) are failing, its only at high RPM but they all look like they have had it..... I will go for new ones.

I have fitter the TFSI colts and it certainly cures the issue but I think its not right to convert an RS2 like this, it needs to be stock.... So, I will be putting a full set of TFSI coils, loom and cam cover up for sale soon, might help with offsetting the cost of the OEM colts..

                  Thanks guys.

You can buy them from Euro Car Parts/GSF etc, it's the exact part. Sometimes Euro's do a 30% sale around bank holidays. It might be worth waiting until later this month?

                      Agree. RS2 should look/be stock.

I converted my RS2 to run the TFSI coils last year, it runs much more smoothly at lower revs and cured my half-mis' at idle. I have kept all the original parts but feel that for day to day reliability the TFSI packs are a little more suitable.

                          So an update...

I purchased new Beru coil packs today (GSF with the bank holiday discount cost me £88 each (way better than the £224 each quoted by Audi !)...

Next are the cable connectors. Have seen the great posts from LGK6D and others but have not been able to find a source of the ones I need, any clues....

I also need the cable heat insulation sleeving, but again, which one and what size....

                          Appreciate the help..

                              Hi Paul,

Thanks for the helpful post I am thinking of ordering some as well. I think the Beru part number is 1135974023, but I could not find this on the GSF web site. Any ideas?

                              Cheers,
