You need to send him a k24 in exchange. New or used, it doesn't matter.

Javad has a good reputation as far as I know. Explain your situation to him. It should be possible to refund your money.

              I got it last week.
              K26/T04E hybrid.

With friend, we installed it with rs2 exhoust mainfold.
To remove old stuff and replaced with new one, it took apporx. 24h for us. Two long days

but the result is I just can' t get the smile of my face
Only one bad thing, here in Estonia, snow came down and with this power I got nothing to do with. I even using summer tires.

I' ll hope I make some test soon, like gtech or something.

              anyway . . . it' s nice

Hi lynx, did you put together your own water and oil lines? I'm lookin at replacing my old s2 turbo with this garrett solution simply cuz its cheap as chips. Is it anymore laggy than your old S2 turbo? would be interesting to see some gtech figures.

Yes, I ' m mean I didn' t make them by my self, but I was let to do them.
Only oil lines have to hold up pressure, thats way I didn' t make them myself.
Anyway, all necessary line cost me approx. 100$.

Fist I wanted the k24/t04E hybrid, but then I found out the problem, witch I wrote at the top of the topic. Now I' m even more happier with this turbo. I boost about 3000-3200rpm, but then I really boost and all to way to the red line.
At the moment I' m using a Dupre motosport chip with it, and default wastegate setup (default sping, no any modification) and it starts to push 1,3-1,4bar and at the red line approx. 1bar.
Yes, It' s more laggy than stock S2 turbo, but I like it very much.
Like they say: "If U don ' t have a lag, you don' t have a turbo!"

I ' ll hope to make gtech runs as soon, as the snow going away.
I just looket out, and my car under 2-3cm snow It' s gonna be intresting day

                  with best regards,

and the good times are over

first thing that blowed by turbo is, Audi TT by - bass. When I both this car, original by - bass was smashed allaready.
Ok, this is only the beginning.

Next thing . . . there were a bit blue smoke in morning when I starter a car, nothing really special, just a little bit.

Ok, now the exhoust system are in the bad shape. It let pass somewhere o the cats (cats are not empty) and now the last one . . . I mean this bonnet (I' ll hope you' ll understad) is burned all the way

and finnaly today . . . the blue smoke coming more and more. First 4-5km I can see in the mirror.

Anyway, could anyone say to me . . . what causes the blue smoke. The turbo is new, I don' t way to belive it' s the problem.

that' s how it ended now

I think I going to stop the car for a week, because I don' t have any time @ the moment.

hmm, I don' t know english terms very well.

But turbo shaft (fulcrum, I really don ' t know term) movin frontward to backward approx. 3-4mm. It' s shouldn' t move at all. When I got the turbo, then it was ok.

Now if I got time, I have to remove it and look for somebody, who will reconstruct it, if it' s still possible!

All starter just fine, but . . .

                          @ the moment I' m thinking, what could go wrong . . .
JavaD told me that turbo no need to "drive in." I pussed it pretty hard (ofcourse, before car get hot, 90C*).
                          But maybe it was a broken by - pass . . .

                          maybe, maybe, maybe . . .

My friends told me, do not deal with the engine . . . it will cost your' s nervs and lot of $$$. I didn' t hear them But the result is

anyway, I' ll try to remove turbo someday and will see, what will happends . . .

I'd send it back to JavaD, every new turbo should really be gently broken in, after a few hundred miles, change the oil and then you can give it some.

I wrote JavaD, what he think' s about the situtation.

But sending it back is not option.
Because turbo cost' s me two time more, than it' s worth. I' mean trasport and taxes in our country.

And I can' t put the original k24 back, because original oli and water lines are changed.

But when it was runnig, then it was
