I would suggest to check your MAF.On td5 they very often read low with no MIL or any DTC-S stored and with identical symptoms to yours. If you could borrow one witch you know is working well it would be worth trying.Speak with Gary Wood from Alive Tuning- he is a Td5 guru and great chap too.

More pictures, a bit clearer. It looks pretty much closed to be fair, more than I thought initially.Attached FilesComment

Hello, the MAF readings are between 55 at idle and 550 at full throttle so it looks ok, it is only a few months old and its a Siemens one. The figure that stood out to me was the ambient air pressure reading of 880 or thereabouts, I live by the sea and I consider that wrong as it should show 1000 approx. More than 10% off, altitude wise that is 4000 ft above sea level, what would that cause?I would suggest to check your MAF.On td5 they very often read low with no MIL or any DTC-S stored and with identical symptoms to yours. If you could borrow one witch you know is working well it would be worth trying.Speak with Gary Wood from Alive Tuning- he is a Td5 guru and great chap too.Comment

Depends on how the conversion is setup. A normal vnt setup pulls a vacuum at idle which pulls up the rod and closes down the turbo for good response. As boost rises the value is reduced and the vnt slowly opens. Adjust your rod to fully hit that screw.
