    20vt to o7k compression difference

So I bought some very nice Mahle pistons for AAN in 83mm bore with a designed compression of 8.7:1

knowing that o7k wrist pins are the same and everything, would these pistons work in an o7k? and if so what would be the difference in compression due to the different stroke.

They are dished but I do not remember the capacity of the dish.

I just really don't want to buy another set of pistons if these can work

^Gabe you doing an 07k swap?
I do know Hank was saying some
    internal parts can be interchanged.
    Pistons I'm not sure.

Yes I picked up a forged crank '05 o7k for dirt cheap so I figured why the hell not.

There is a few factors - piston dish, piston compression height, HG volume, combustion chamber volume. Then you can calculate it. I have posted a CR calculator on the forum, have a search. You can substitute the old school values for 07K values

07k are indeed dirt cheap, but you will need a lot of other things ($$$) for the swap
and unfortunately the pistons wont work. im sure you can sell it easily and buy the proper one

So you're ok with the 6bolt flywheel option?

^^^Better option for big power is
to buy the 8 bolt tt-rs crankshaft. People
on rennlist where saying new ones were
              around $1k-$1,300.

Chevy LS3 crank are 6 M10, and can make big power with out breaking anything
I don't think just the number of bolts tells the whole story.

IDK but ask Hank what he is using
in his swaps. Right now him & Lugtronic
seem to have the most knowledge on
                    the new school 5 pots.

Was reffering perhaps more to clutch packages that are available.
Last I checked the 8Bolt option had more variety than the 6Bolt.
