Im not much for take off stuff from pistons then i would go for bigger pistons and make it a 2.3 instead

It's a ghetto way of dropping the CR in my opinon.
Get some nice new Wossner pistons

Cheapest way is a thicker gasket.
Proper way is the correct pistons.
Skimming stock pistons NOT recommended.

Also, GTX3076R is a crap turbo. The turbine is too small for the compressor. GTX3071R is good or GTX3576R, but not the GTX3076, it is not balanced.
You will also not make over 500hp with a GT30R turbine on pump gas.

Skimming pistons is fine as long as you don't reduce the crown thickness - i.e. just remove squish area + dish volume.
