Oil temp sensor

I think my oil temp sensor is due for a change. Looks easy enough to get to. Anything I should think about before going in?

Not really. Get a new seal.

OK. One simple question. Will I lose all my oil when I change the sensor or is the sensor in indirect contact with the oil?

You won't lose it all, but you will lose some of it. Have a drip tray standing by.
