S2 Messed up after sensor plug was replaced.

Yesterday I was going to collect my car but there were several paint related issues and other more worrying concerns, any pointers as to were to start looking for the other issues will help.

First thing I noticed was the brake lights had stopped working. I did not have a test with me but with what I did during the tests made me thinks its the brake switch, all the fuses looked ok.

I was then asked to drive the car to an auto electrician to check why the brake lights did not work, while driving I noticed the car seemed down on power like there was no turbo. They were closed.

Idle was smooth acceleration was slow like it had no power.

During the five days before collecting the car they said they replaced the battery and replace a sensor plug as it was corroded (not sure which one yet). Apparently the car would start then it would not so an auto elec checked the car and he replaced a corroded connector. I think they said the cam sensor plug. G40!!!

Is there anything that links all this to no power/boost?

They said they are going to call the same auto elec to resolve the issues tomorrow. I am worried.

Any ideas as to what they could have done to the car to make these problems occur.

Before they touched the car it was running very good.

They N75 WGFV is either not connected or the moisture trap (before the ECU) isn't connected to the intake manifold and ECU.

IIRC they must pull the timing belt off to get to the cam sensor. IF so, get them to line up all the marks to see if it has slipped a tooth or so? Faulty cam sensor can end upp with.a car that starts and then wont start. Just my guess. And a slipped tooth will result in very low power if and at all.
