Supercharger rebuild

Hi there guys, any recommendations as to who can rebuild a VF vortech supercharger in the U.K.?

I've had a bit of journey ordering a new pulley and belt from the states, taking nearly 2 months. When it was finally installed my Golf r32 shot up in power as there was masses of slip before. The dyno showed a significant improvement, but 2 hours and 80 odd miles later the car developed a knocking noise.
I've narrowed it down to being a bearing in the supercharger. Now I can't find any options in the U.K. And I'd really rather not post it all off to the U.S...

I can't help you with a UK company but let me know if you want a German recommendation. I just saw his 1250hp Lamborghini Aventador Biturbo rebuild so I know he's used to bigger projects but I think he would take a smaller one too. I could ask if you want.

Bearing

If you can get the bearings out, the part number is usually along one side of the outer race. There are probably dozens of bearing suppliers in the UK who could supply, even locally. Here's one i've used in the past:

That's who I used to order my pulley through. He's wiped his hands with it all though, and after nearly 2 months of waiting for a belt and pulley through NS running from the U.S, it turned out they still weren't the size I ordered as I wanted to upsize to increase reliability but upon fitting we realized it's the exact same size as what I had already, so I stuck with it as it was just hassle.

I'll see if I can get the bearing out as that would be easier just to replace. However others have struggled in the U.K. getting seals to match the charger and have had no choice but to send it back to VF.

Haha Yes already seen that but not read much good stuff about the eBay rebuild kits, otherwise all the vr6 and r32 supercharged lot would most definitely be using them.
