hi all,
just wanted to know what the general consensus was on the powerflex snub mount Vs the OEM: I think there was a fitting issue with this and hence rejected by some and that other users swear by it

any info appreciated

Hi,

I would fit one of those sport quattro snub mount brackets that Ben did a mod with here: http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...t=snub+bracket

I fitted one of these to my Big IC custom Xmember and as well as being cheap as chips it does a great job.

Even if you keep the standard rubber mount the new bracket stops the engine moving anywhere, its a much better design than the S2 bracket which IMHO is cr@p and it is hardly improved by the powerflex mount either.

Would agree with mark on that one too. the bracket design for the S2 is pretty poor, powerflex's design has improved it now but it is not ideal.
