    What modulus EPROM to MAC11C?

I have modified file .bin to computer MAC 11C. What EPROM will accept this file? What is the modulus of integrated circuit Hitachi HN61364P? I want already to finish in my computer the career of resistor mod...

Probably not the place for the question. Someone might know of course, but this is still a S2/RS2 forum.

Mac 11, that is what is fitted to the MC series engine. Go talk to Scott Mockry at sjmAutotecknik.com

Thanks. I will make this surely.

I apologize that I litter your place subjects 10V, but many of you has behind stage 10V and you can me help in some matters. I like your forum and read it from about half year. It pleases to me.
So parenthetically, I am in track testings different EPROMs. Tomorrow main examination. My programmer unit has already me enough

I am interested in this thread, but don't have much technical info to offer. Perhaps a little topic could be added somewhere for non-S2 related Audi questions? This place has much more of an international presence than some of the other U.S. based forums.

Well, I think you should look at your .bin file size and select EPROM like this:

            8Kbytes - 27c64
            16Kbytes - 27c128
            32Kbytes - 27c256
            64Kbytes - 27c512

Note that you can write 8Kb image to 16Kb EPROM - but you need to check what state are the unused address lines on your MAC11. Or maybe you should write two or more copies of .bin to fill up the EPROM - it works for me with Motronic

Also, it is possible to use 29c512 or even bigger flash memory, but 29c series are 32pin (versus 28pin for 27c series), so more modifications are needed. For Motronic, I have to short pins 32, 31 and 30 on the flash chip when it is inserted into 28pin socket.

              I thank for good advice
It was successful. However 64Kbytes so 27c512. EPROM is already established and I tune to him engine.

There now so parenthetically... How do you put EPROM 32 pins to support 28 pins? You skip pin 32? Because 32 is + V...

I connect pins 32,31 and 30 together. So pin 32 is getting +V and everybody is happy
