    TurboXS boost controller or original?

    Which one to use.
What is + or - with each one?

Let the ecu and WGFV control the boost. I had a bleed valve on mine, not good. But if you really want one of those valves, just get a fish tank air balancer valve, <£2.

Stick to original system that has all the safe guards in place and can vary the boost throughout the rev range.

Im running with the XS today, and my pressure drops to 1,1 bar and holds it to the revlimiter. Its goes to 1,5 (in 5 gear) and drops througout the revs to 1,1 about 5500 Rpm. 1,3 in second , 1,37 in third , 1,45 in fourth an 1,5 in fifth. These figures are all max boost in seperat gear.
How would the org valve works? about the same or?.
        The car goes really good

the original valve is controlled by the ECU and the duty cycle is adjusted to stop wastegate creep and control boost. The boost is set dependant upon the engine load and revs. And higherboost is achieved in higher gears because the turbo can flow more then. If the ECU detects that there is knock for example it switches to a different map and lowers the boost to help not to damage the engine. Mihnea from MRC tuning is your man to speak to and can sort out a proper map for your car.

1.1 Bar at the redline on a stock turbo won't make your turbo last for very long IMHO... and 1.5 Bar peak is too much as well... very good for getting detonation IMHO/IME...

Mihnea: what do you suggest on boost setup?
Does not the MTM Boost 1,4 on the standard KKK24?
Do you suggest running with the org valve instead of the XS valve?
and the thrust bearing in the K24 is the same as in the Rs2 turbo right?
and the axels an wheels on the 24 are lighter than the rs2, so it does get less beaten.
the stock rs2 produce 1,4 bar why can`t the 24 produce the same in a short period of time?

                Thanx

it would have to overspin to acheive that sort of boost AFAIK and could also make it surge if it goes out of the sweet area of the compressor map. Im no expert though.

so what the people suggest are:
put back the orginal Wg spring (o,6bar)and let the org valve controll the boost?
or should i just decreased the boost pressure?
this is my situ. To be honest i`ve never push it longer than about 6000K (there i have 1,1 bar). I`m not using the car daily and have about 2 trackrun each year. When driven on the street i barely use the boost so there you are

i have now set the boost to max 1,3 and tried to 7000 rpm, the boost are 0,7 at 7000
so i think thats ok. I cant find my org valve after it was change with the Xs.
