    Holset HX35 Copressor Racing

    Hi,

i found very interesting turbo. It spools very low and thats what i am looking.
But does it go to S2 and is it so good as they say?

600bhp+ and full boost by 3500rpm is proven on 2ltrs using good twin scroll manifold setups. Full boost by 4000-4500 using single scroll manifold

But wasent the 3500 spool on a twinscroll ? Then it might not be that when using a single scroll

With twinscroll you also need a proper manifold built for twinscroll turbo otherwise it wont work as it should.

Twinscroll work just well. You just can't make a proper pulse manifold with 5 runners. Almost all Holset turbine housings are twinscroll and they have been proven working well on these engines with just singlescroll manifolds.

With a proper twinscroll pulse manifold(4, 6cyl) you may ge some better spoolup though.

Jep, i ment the same by that, that the turbo will not spoolup so fast as they could.

And a twinscroll with a quickspool valve?
