Samco hoses failed

So mechanical boost kicked in yesterday so chased the usual suspects found the boot for the MFTS full of cooling fluid, 2 year old Samco silicon hose failed, shocking, think I'll be swapping them over for somat else anyone had this issue
Now looking to change back to OEM or maybe try Roose, any opinions
Just like to add that this forum is amazing a quick search for the symptoms / causes and fixed in half an hour so many thanks to all previous peeps who share their knowledge

You know my thoughts....

Couple of failures, only one I posted about... I think the structure breaks down over time such that the ends where the clips are fixed get soft and fail.

I will try fitting Roose hoses and hope they are better... their boost hoses are definately better quality than the Samco items, haven't had coolant hoses side by side though.

What do you reckon about a squirt of hairspray prior to fitting? Seems to be used in many places to lubricate fitting and drying as a kind of adhesive....
