AAN 2.2 Turbo Ecu dead ?

Hi guys, I am new here and i tried to find some help in topics on forum but no luck. So I decided to start this topic.

I working on project Audi coupe 80 with S4 AAN 2.2 turbo engine in it. I have engine properly installed in the car but I have problem with ecu or wires i think.

Me and my friend ..we are working on the wires from ecu to the dashboard because we want to use dash originally from coupe. But something happens and now car wont start. We are checked almost everything but no luck soo.

Symptoms:
There is no fuel from injectors and no spark. And one really strange thing is that when we want to test injectors and Boost pressure control valve (little black box) via vag-com they don't tapping but for example fuel carbon canister (i don't know how to call it in english) working and normally tapping. Some times there is problem with G28 and G4 and was there problem with G40 too but we all changed for new and tested with Digital multimeter and G40 with LED bulb and they are ok.

before all this issue there was one accident that cable ( + ) from battery touched with body and it sparkled after that we have problem with starting.

So maybe some advice where to look for example in ecu ? or maybe someone has problem like this ...

it's not clear from your post whether the engine has ever run with the loom in this car. Did it work and now it wont with the ECU, loom and motor in the 80?

AAN 2.2 Turbo Ecu dead ?

At least its normally starting In this car .. After that issue with + cable its wont start. We test G4 G40 and G28 sensors ... G40 was bad we buy new .. G4 and G28 are ok ... But there were errors like no signal or not goof signal ... We test cables between sensors and ecu and they are ok...

So maybe its ecu but how to tell if its dead?? We checked it twice if there are any visible damage but nothing .. And vag com can normally connect to it

What about the fuses? Did you check the motor ones i think they are 28,29.they are sideways on the bottom of the fuse box in the engine bay.when my ecu went bang they were gone and after replacing them with new ones they wouldn't last a second.if they are gone that's the sign that ecu is dead.try searching in here as well.few topics about that problem.hope that helps
