The Audi OE hose is 10mm ID and about 17.2mm OD. With the OE hose NLA, people on my side of the pond have been using a Gates Durion Hose Part #26239.

"Additionally, I picked up a section of the suggested Gates Durion Hose Part #26239 @ $8.29/ft In a pinch, the specs and price-point (my local FLAPS gave me ~2ft for the price of one!) make it seem to be an affordable FLAPS alternative.
    Temperature Rating: -70 Deg. F to +400 Deg. F (-57 Deg. C to +204 Deg. C).
    Working Pressure (psi): 60 psi
Inside Diameter: 3/8 Inch (9.525 mm)
Additionally as shown in the following pictures, the hose is reinforced and similarly built to the stock hose.UrS4boy has correctly indicated the temp specs *might* not be high enough so YMMV..." k2exoman

Thanks for the information. Don't have that Gates hose available this side of the pond, but I have ordered a new hose with similar size.
