Brand new rs2 turbo

I have fitted brand new turbo to my car two days ago , no there was nothing wrong with my old one but we were doing second head gasket and general cleaning engine bay
so new turbo would give it a bit more bling, The bad news is it did last 10 minutes or 3 miles. I was driving on motorway and suddenly no power and boost at 0 or less.
Could not believe my luck, last time I tided up the engine could not fix the car for 10 weeks.
Well this time finding fault did not take that long, 1 hour , last thing everyone would expect is brand new turbo to go wrong but it did. When we took all hoses of we found turbo wheels jammed solid would not move, but 1 hour later when nice and cold was fine was moving again.
We fixed the old one back on again and the car runs like dream now.

I'd either get ur money back, or an exchanged unit from them. Where was it from?

Bad luck Rob, sounds like a simple case of a slightly too tight bearing housing, hope the company sort it out for you. Most of the turbo suppliers in the UK are fairly good. I have dealt with Turbo Active and AET and both are very knowledgable companies with years of experience. Not saying that you bought yours from them, did you?
