What is the correct running temp?

Could anyone tell me what the correct running temprature of the ABY estate? is it 90 or 2 notches below 90c approx 70c?

    Thanks

Temp sensors can be affected by the wind.

Rises to 90oC in traffic. Although dependant on actual ambient temperature around 70oC on run.
If it stays low all the time you need a new thermostat and it is usually associated with Xs fuel consumption.
Only on newer Audi cars does the temp go straight to 90oC and stay there in my experience of A3 A4 A6 loan cars over the years.

Poor mpg ? What are you getting ?

Other things to consider are fuel filter, lambda, plugs, MAF, WGFV. All of which can influence mpg directly and indirectly IMHO

I was getting poor MPG - 20 average with mixed driving. Now I get 23.5 - it's because my wife's started driving it and isn't ragging it everywhere

Waste gate frequency value juggles boost fuel air to optimise performance down near DV adjacent to turbo with pipes from MAF turbo

Boost suggests chipped. Any ideas who ? Would explain poor consumption

Could you give an idea on how poor fuel consumption is ?

15 miles on 1/4 of a tank. I don't believe this cars been chipped, have had a chipped S6(5 pot) and that was considerable quicker once moving.

my average is 17mpg, and my temp in traffic hits around 95, when driving can drop to 85.

                            i think i have issues...

can someone explain this to me please, ive asked before with no reply.

My fan (3rd speed?) kicks in when the temp reaches around 95, but if I turn off my engine while the fan is on, the fan turns off too. I know others cars keep the fan running even if u stop engine and lock car. mine dosnt. any clues?

I used to get 22 mpg as when it was my daily driver. Now as my weekend fun car I get 18 ish. I guess that's just my right foot though!
