But what regarding of wear of the belt in this case ? I assume it's not only a problem about pulley and timmng >? Am I wrong ?

The belt should fit perfectly. Its a super torque paten with squared valleys its not a hard profile to cut most gear cutters will have it.
Have a read of this some one made a good write up on all the options. Before i made my own i had three or four others not bad but not perfect hence why i made my own.
And skip to 19.00 on this video its a very simple but gives a great example of how some gears are cut
