    Silkolene Pro-S 10W-50 oil

    Anyone use this oil?.
I've been using Castrol RS 10W-60 up to now with no complaints. But this Silkolene Pro-S is an Ester based synthetic rather than a 'Hydrocracked' one, and particulary as my car has not been modded a 10W-50 would seem perfect. I'll try this next time.

Oh, and it comes in 5L

Yep I have used this a lot in the past, I am currently using the Silkolene Pro R 15W/50, I chose this too because it is Ester based, I also like it because it comes as you say in 5Ltr cans and is easy to get hold of (for me).

I've requested some quotes from oil suppliers but I think its about £45.50 inc. vat & del. for 5L. TBC.

The RS's price just seems to be going up and up. I wonder if thats to do with the price of crude at the mo or are they just taking the proverbial?
