Starter motor should I buy new or have it reconditioned

My 3b coupe needs a new starter Should I have the original reconditioned or is that not a good idea.

I woul do recon on it.it want be very expensive and you should get warranty

common wearing parts being brushes, solonoid and the drive gear all easily available on ebay and easy enough to strip and rebuild I did my starter motor drive gear on the driveway hardest part was removing it from the shaft what is your starter doing or not doing mine was spinning without turning the engine got to the point of almost never engaging before i got the part
