    Turbo boost.......problems

Hi friends, I have not written here for a long time, the reason is that I bought other national classic cars ( Seat ) and dedicate a lot of time to them.

I thought I knew the car well after so many years but it is that this time I do not know where

The S2 has been driven by my son and for some time now we have problems with the car.

It is long to tell but I will make a brief summary.

Comment that has reprogramming by Paul Nugent

The car stopped working well the turbo since entering a metal washer in the intake tube (2013) was at most 1.1 bar.

About a year and a half (2014) I got a turbo in good condition from a friend and I installed it, there was no way it worked well, I checked everything ............. in the end I disassembled Admission of the turbo and I saw that the compressor wheel had been destroyed all (we do not know the reason because in the previous turbo if we saw the washer but in this we do not know why) ............... ....... only reached the pressure at 1.1 bar again and also went up very slowly.

Wait two years until you can take the time and change it again.

The issue is that by November 2016 we changed it again and finally everything worked fine, it went up to 1.5 bar, it was perfect, but at 2 weeks it started like the previous ones, to increase the pressure little by little and it did not exceed 1.2 Bar ... we have reprinted everything

VagCom no errors, everything is fine .................. has me completely lost.

I no longer know where to look, I need some advice where to look and what may be the problem so the turbo pressure is cut.

    Changed Turbo,
    Changed wastegate.

    Spring wg change
    Check N75 K (for H)
    Test circuit tightness.

Could be my old personal favourite; the barometric sensor needing 're-calibrated'. Or MFTS under inlet manifold has died or dump valve leaking

Thanks Mike for replying, the diverter is revised (forge) and has no leakage, I have changed the potentiometer and also the Maf, it seems to have improved somewhat but it is not comparable to when it worked well.

The altitude sensor how do I calibrate it?

Hello friends, we continue with the same problem.

I have removed the barometric sensor and between pins 1 and 2 and the result 0.900, I have regulated it up to 1,200 I have installed it again and the car remains the same.

            Pressure 1020 mbar ( Mataro, Barcelona )

Tabien I have noticed in VagCom that potentiometer of throttle only opens 93,4% to the maximum .................. is normal or should be to 100%?

I've been making changes all afternoon (I have another spare potentiometer) testing and there is no way, I did not solve the lack of thrust, when I replaced the turbo (November 2016) I got 1.5 bar in overboost and I even raised the pressure faster, alone Lasted 2 weeks and started working at 1.2 or 1.3 bar max overboost, you could tell the difference.

Well I do not know what else to do, I only have to look at the F76 but I've already dismantled everything and I've already been a little disappointed.

Is it possible that the F76 is able to cut a little turbo pressure? It's that I do not know what to do anymore

Try unplugging it to see if there's any difference

This morning I took the car and seems to be better, I've seen the manometer needle almost at 1.35 bar
