    Which Timimg belt for Audi 7A?

    Hello guys

    I need to buy a new timing belt for my 7A (first version ECU 2 connectors), I saw that are 3 codes but the belt are very similar. Do you know what are the differences and what code I should buy?

    054109119A or 054109119G

    Thank you
    Mihai

    Step 1: setup. <==
    Step 2: potentiation.
    Step 3: enjoy.

        I recently bought a Gates belt for my 7A, part no. on invoice is X5182XS
        Maybe this'll help?

          The *A* par no was dropped in June 1997 and replaced with the *G* part no.

              I think what Audicted is saying is the part number changed in '97 so you will only get a "G" belt?

                  Gates belt for G part number costs 14 euros. This is ridiculously overpriced.

                  Gates 5182XS - 14 euros
                  Contitech CT926 - 23 euros
                  Bosch 1987949141 - 18 euros

                  I have a Gates belt on my AAN. Does its job perfectly.
