    3B Gearbox/ Diff mounts

    Alright gents,

Years ago i replaced all my mountings, engine, gearbox, diff etc. However quite a lot of shunt has returned, i suspect either gearbox or diff as at the time of fitment i did not think that the rubber was very stiff. If i remember correctly i got gearbox mounts from Quattro Corner and then some time later diff mounts of ebay. I remember one of them being stiffer than the other but can't remember which way round it was. Probably the stiffer ones form Quattro Corner and the softer ones from ebay.

Anyhow, where can i get stiffer mounts from, or should i just eboxy these ones to see how they fair? Not sure how long the epoxy would last but interested to see the difference.

    Cheers

think the issue is some of it will be general lash in the transmission and some will be worn mounts. Stiffening the mounts will probably just make the clunks and bangs more acute unless you plan to overhaul the cv's etc. I need to replace all the rubber mounts on mine over the summer as I have some noise but planning to replace the cv's and centre bearing too on the prop so hoping it will be a bight quieter and tighter too. If only i had the time lol
