    Catcams advice

    Hello
Was looking to get som catcams for my engine
And had one of these in mind

    1012339
Or 1012335 (needs catcams springs )

Wich one would you go for and Why ?

I wasent going to pull the head right now for changeing springs But If its the Best option
I Could go that Way and just Do the change without talking it off
    But is it Worth it?
Im not going past 7500-7800 rpm anyways.
    Its a Daily street car

    AIM around 600 HP

    Turbo is a Gtx 3076 gen2 ar 0.82
    Engine is Stock except rods
    Stock head (porting later)
    Turbulant tube em
    Furans Im
    Treadstone ic tr1045
    70 mm tb

Cams has adjusteble chain sprockets. And there Will be a adjusteble cam wheel from catcams on

Hope some of you have some advice
    Thx

7a cans might be a better compromise and cheaper?

i want a set of new cams. not some old once i cant see if they are worn to junk conditions and allso you get the sprocket for adjusting timing with the cat cams. you need to buy that allso and then there is not that big of a price difference in the end

Ok I understand. I don't think our engines are known to wear out cams often? Maybe I'm wrong on that?

I dont Think they are But lets say i find a 7 a cam set with 150-200000 km om Them Think that Will be a realistick nr
Then Im just thinking they must be just a Little worn
Maybe just a 10 og a inch Maybe more Maybe less But still worn ?

I would like to point out another thing. Audi engineers design cams as low agressive intake, with "agressive" exhaust. Cat cams tend to be like more "ususal" engine design, more agressive on intake cam and mild exhaust.
What work better on your engines and why?

It was question to public, not arguing to use something you dont want.
Im running PKM motorsport regrind cams, which i find its some catcams naturally aspirated engine - "symetric" (eg both intake and exhaust are the same) profile
